Ambition - TM Theme

Fellow toastmasters and dear guest good afternoon !!! Welcome all to this fantastic meet. Ambition/ Goal/target/ is what today's theme. What an ambition is . I believe all of us know what an ambition is. When I was a child I was being asked what my goal was & I used to answar as Doctor. But I am not a doctor  neither I can be. "That is the reason Now I reliased that – An ambition without a plan is just like a wish." So  the ambition to become a doctor was just a wish not an ambition. So I could not fulfilll it. To give an example of how  to differenciate between Ambition and wish. I want to loose weight is a wish where as I want to loose 1 KG in 1 months can be one ambition or Goal. So ambition can be defined clearly.

An ambition is a desire for personal achievement. It provides motivation and determination.Ambition is incomplete with out concentration. On the best sunny day, the most powerful magnifying glass will not light paper if you keep moving the glass. But if you focus and hold it, the paper will light up. That is the power of concentration.

How a toastmasters meet goes ? Pass the agenda....

A man was traveling and stopped at an intersection. He asked an elderly man, "Where does this road take me?" The elderly person asked, "Where do you want to go?" The man replied, "I don't know." The elderly person said, "Then take any road. What difference does it make?"

How true. When we don't know where we are going, any road will take us there.

Without a a debuger a program does not work properly. What compiler does it findout all kind of error to make ur code qulaititive. Can  you imagine a program without a debugger/compiler or interpritor. Some one is there to correct you to point out you error to make you all qualititive.IN real life also we need some great person in life who atleast point out our faults and make us error free. Hence to correct you we have a team of evaluaters leaded by the GE. Today our GE is one of the most experienced person who has the capability to though light to you all. He is the VP education in Novell moastmasters club. Please put ur hand together to welcome Babula on stage. He will explain what is  the role and responsibility his and his team has.

A farmer had a dog who used to sit by the roadside waiting for vehicles to come around. As soon as one came he would run down the road, barking and trying to overtake it. One day a neighbor asked the farmer "Do you think your dog is ever going to catch a car?" The farmer replied, "That is not what bothers me. What bothers me is what he would do if he ever caught one." Many people in life behave like that dog who is pursuing meaningless goals.

So without much delay lets go to the most importent part of toastmasters meet what is the mind of toastmasters meet the prepared spech session. In this most importent session a most impotent things will be discussed. It is most impotent. Because the matter is undefined. There are lacs of defination for this topics there are thousands of comments on thsi matters. And believe me there are thousands of pending case in court and they all are yet to resolve. If you do it you willl repent and if you do not do then also you will repent. It is marrage.

A gentle man is coming to resolve this issue saying "Marriage set in heavens..."  Yes the topic is "Marrriage is set in heaven..." 

The geltle man who is coming here to prove this is a married man having lot of real life  experiances . He is one of the successsfull man I have seen. He has potential to show a vision and drive you all to achieve that. He is a great public speckers. He is one of the co-founder of Novell toastmasters Club. Please give a big round of appolud ....He has completed his speech#5. Congratulation on completing you project #5. You have really achieved a very good milestone.

Suppose you have all the football eleven players, enthusiastically ready to play the game, all charged up, and then someone took the goal post away. What would happen to the game? There is nothing left. How do you keep score? How do you know you have arrived? Enthusiasm without direction is like wildfire and leads to frustration. Goals give a sense of direction. Would you sit in a train or a plane without knowing where it was going? The obvious answer is no. Then why do people go through life without having any goals?

This says how importent goal is in life. Make your life a mission….not an intermission. ..
